New York City, NY @ Bowery Ballroom

A brutal New York winter called and luckily, almost monday, was there to pick up the phone.

Heck, they did more than just that.The San Diego-based trio embarked on their US headlining tour, aptly named “I Only Wanna Dance.” Starting in New York City, they delivered a California summer soaked performance to the crowd at none other than Bowery Ballroom.

The set started strong with “Broken People”, as the last minute concert goers entered the venue floor, those there had already begun to dance. Phones raised and hands waved back and forth as frontman Dawson drew the crowd in with his Matty-Healy-esque dance moves and pop star sunglasses. It was very clear the band’s priority was to have fun above all else.
