Interview with Edith (Round 2).

Interviewed by: Laury Verdoux

For those of you following us since the beginning, you know how much we love rising pop artist EDITH. After listening to her new single “Necklace”, we had to feature her again to talk about her background, new music and goals.

Hi EDITH, it's a pleasure to have you back! What has happened since our feature last year?
Hey! Glad to be back! Thank you for having me! A lot has happened including my move to London, a few more songs written and a plan for the album release!
What influenced you to become a singer-songwriter? Did you always dream of being one?
I have always wanted to do this since I was really young so I wouldn’t say anyone in particular had an influence on me.

Can you tell us more about your new single “Necklace”. What was the writing process like?
I wrote “Necklace” as a ballad on the piano and then took it into the studio where Brookfield and I made it into what you can hear today! We had to change up some of the lyrics as it was almost too much like a poem but the goal was to make the song sound like the feeling.
Which one of your songs is your favorite so far and why?
There’s the song I wrote called “Airdrop”. I am super excited for that one!
What’s your dream collaboration?
Taylor Swift!
You were born in Romania and moved to the UK. Do you feel that this multicultural background influences your music?
Ahh, not necessarily I wouldn’t say! I was listening to the same music in Romania as I was when I had made the move.
What’s your favorite song ever and why?
I think it would have to be “All Too Well” by T Swizzle and because it is honestly the most beautiful song ever written in the history of music.
What is the best piece of advice you were ever given?
That if it’s meant for me it won’t pass me so I should relax and focus on the good!
What is one thing you can't live without in daily life?
Lip Balm!

To finish, what can we expect from you for the rest of the year? Any surprises you can tell us about?
Yess!!! An album release and there might be a gig coming very soon! I’m super excited for everyone to hear the whole project! Thanks for your time :)
