Sleep House Releases Their New EP.

If you’re looking to add some new summer songs to your favourite playlist you’re in luck! New Jersey based alternative pop band Sleep House have released their third EP High Tide. Here’s our track-by-track review of the new project!
Track 1: “Skydiving in Dubai”
The band starts off the EP out with a fun and upbeat track that has soothing vocals and is backed by strong drums and guitar, that is sure to get listeners dancing with “Skydiving in Dubai”! The three minute track transports fans into the world of love and explains the want and pain when you love someone you can’t have. From the constant thoughts in your head, to how they strung you along, to how you wish you didn’t love them but you still do! All these feelings make it feel like you’re skydiving into a whirlwind of love.
Track 2: “Clementine”
This next song wastes no time getting into the instrumentals, from the first second listeners are given a drum and guitar solo leading to the just as amazing lyrics. “Clementine” is about forgetting the past and heartbreak and deciding to live in the moment and be brave. “with the heart open wide, and a step in your stride, you’ll never leave this space”. The lyrics show that if you take a risk and listen to your heart you can do great things! The three minute track is an uplifting song that is sure to make you smile and be stuck in your head all day.
Track 3: “You’re still my favourite thing”
The band ends the EP with a bang! Starting the song off with a static like noise listeners can quickly realize this track is a new sound for Sleep House. The three minute track shows how it feels when you realize you have nothing left to lose so you can live freely and stop running away from your fears or sins of a previous relationship. The lyrics also show that even if you move on and find yourself again it’s still okay to love and remember your past! ‘It’s all good anyway cause you’re still my favourite thing’. This track is a perfect song for any mood and will be sure to make you smile while you sing it!
Once again Sleep House outdoes themselves by creating another amazing EP. So make sure to keep an eye and an ear out for them because they’re on the rise and we can’t wait to see what the future hold for these four boys!
