Sam Himself kicks 2023 off and releases a new album titled Never Let Me Go. After teasing his fans throughout 2022, the Swiss rocker finally unveiled a new album. Composed of 10 tracks, the title track “Heartland” is your daily dose of hope.

After a first album, Power Ballads, in 2021 in line with the times of dealing with solitude during a period of pandemic, this new LP is more optimistic. Indeed, it embraces the reopening of the world and the possibility to hold concerts and dance again. We might lose that again, like history showed but we should enjoy it while it lasts. The resulting tension between hope and the awareness of its fragility is at the heart of Never Let Me Go, a boldfaced plea in more than name, evidently vulnerable and more powerful for it.

If you’re in Europe, don’t miss the chance to see him live with his tour starting on February 15th.

Bonus point if you’re a vinyl lover, you can grab a copy here.
