New Hope Club Talks Latest Double Release and Their New Era.

Written by: Sammy Wroge

New Hope Club (NHC) shares insight to their latest double release of “L.U.S.H.” and “Walk It Out” and how both are perfect for a night out on the town or when you are at the gym.

Urgent. Intimidating. Saucy. Three words described by New Hope Club’s Blake Richardson, George Smith, and Reese Bibby, for one of their newest releases “L.U.S.H.” A song inspired by the FIFA video game, despite it being about the start of a relationship when you have feelings of being obsessed, rushed, and risqué.

New Hope Club nods to their upcoming album. “This whole album has been a huge step forward from the last album,” says Blake. Their emphasis on wanting to challenge themselves and be experimental leaves fans wondering what the new era of NHC will sound like.

According to the three, their sound is constantly evolving. They do not put their sound or themselves in a box. “We are always going to be developing. We are always going to be figuring out who we are and what we want to sound like. We are constantly learning and changing and morphing along the way,” says Reese when expressing how he does not want NHC to have one defined sound. A love for creativity and music has allowed for the three to draw on inspirations to navigate and share what New Hope Club really is.

“This second record is completely written by us, so I think the only change in the new era is that it’s more real and it’s more personal than ever. We’ve just decided to be very open and let people hear what New Hope Club really is,” says Reese. It was expressed that this new record has been made by them through every decision, allowing for everything to have a purpose and meaning to them.

When speaking on their sound on their debut album versus now, they shared how it brought back the reason why they fell in love with music in the first place and their love for sharing stories through their music.

New Hope Club is excited to share their story and new era with the world through their new album coming soon.
