Dreamer Boy Releases “HUES”

Written by: Nina Fedai

Dreamer Boy’s newest release, HUES, is a soft and calming track that explores the multiplex of feelings in post-breakup healing. The indie-pop track sounds like something straight out of a Netflix film. Not unlike his other releases, this song has a strong summer sound, and exudes a notable west coast flare. While vulnerable, lyricly, the song is very chill – on a first listen the song makes me feel like I’m driving in one of those cars where you can take the doors off, and also of taking pictures of sand with a polaroid camera. I can already see people using this song as the background track to their summer recap videos. This song has the same energy as when you’re at the beach when it’s not too busy, and the weather is no longer killer hot but the breeze is just right and it just hit golden hour. To me, this is how the LA based artist’s music often translates and HUES is no exception. HUES is both inspired, vulnerable, and free. Overall, it's a good song, and we know fans are not disappointed. HUES by Dreamer Boy is officially out now!
