Not only has Cian DuCrot his over 300 million streams across platforms, his debut album, Victory, was the first debut album to hit number one in the UK and Ireland of this year.

Cian is known for his natural honesty, vulnerability, and hope through his heartfelt and emotional songs, such as “I’ll Be Waiting” and “All For You.” He also released, “Heaven” and “Part of Me” as singles leading up to the release of Victory.

Unlike most artists, Cian pulls inspiration from music that is not like his own. He tends to listen to Hip-Hop and Rap to pull new ideas from. In addition, Cian often avoids correlating his music to where he is from. However, more recently he has questioned why he ran away from this.

Perhaps, it has to do with his biggest struggle as a musician — maintaining the belief that you can achieve your goals with your mind simultaneously trying to sabotage this. Cian DuCrot is a great example of you can achieve those goals.

“He would be stoked,” says Cian DuCrot when asking what young Cian would say to him now about all his success. Young Cian would say, “Told you so!”

Cian created his debut album, Victory, knowing what he wanted to write and what stories he wanted to share — an intro to his life. He spent a lot of time in his car driving when creating his debut album. This influenced him to create an album with a beat and was vibey for listeners to put on when driving.

Cian’s plan as an artist is to continue trying to find new avenues to promote his music and share his vulnerability.
